The William Jeffrey Award is named after the Penn State soccer coach who had great impact on the local soccer scene. Coach Jeffrey played a prominent role in the national soccer scene as well. He is also honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America who have named an award after him.
For the Lady Little Lions, the William Jeffrey Award has been presented to the senior who has been the best ambassador for soccer throughout her career. Leadership on and off the field, solid academics and a concern for the future of soccer and the program are some of the qualities all past recipients share.
