Lady Little Lions Soccer

On Tuesday and Wednesday morning, we’ll be at the South Track Field.  On Thursday morning, we’ll be at Memorial Field.  All other practices will be at Community Field as usual.  We’ll talk about how to manage water, water bottles, ice at Monday’s practices.

The bus will leave at 8:15am from in front of the north building of the high school, players should report at 8:00am.  We expect a return sometime between 5:00pm-6:00pm.  The concession stand is usually plentiful but players might consider bringing some food of their own for the day.  As is the case for all matches, players should bring both home and away uniforms.

Just as last year, Selinsgrove will be using the two fields down in front of the high school this year. The Varsity teams will play on a full size field, while the Junior Varsity Teams will be playing on a slightly smaller field.

The 2008 mandatory spring informational meeting for the SCAHS Lady Little Lions soccer team will be held on June 9, 2008 in room 230 in the South Building of the high school from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Important information about tryouts, the 2008 season, and the booster club will be distributed and discussed at this meeting. It is important that at least one person from any family interested in being a part of the 2008 season attend this meeting.

We’ll need 4 ball girls and scorekeepers again for our match against Somerset on Monday (which is scheduled for 7:30pm - game two of a girls doubleheader).  Details for the match are available at http://www.piaad6.org/ .

We’re going 10am-Noon on Saturday 10.27 at the South Track Field.  On Sunday 10.28, we’re 4-6pm at the South Track Field.

Both games are being played at the same time, kickoffs at 12:30pm. Varsity will be at the high school as usual, JV will be held at Bird Park.  Bus departs at 8:30 - please get there appropriately.

Follow directions to the high school, at the light at the top of the hill past the high school, make a right onto Rt. 19. at the third street (Beadling Road) make a right. Markham School will be on the left, the park will be on the right.

The Grier game has been canceled. Stay tuned for more details about what Thursday will look like.

Saturday: Lebo, details to follow. Both games are being played simultaneously, we’ll decide about swing players later in the week. Also, Jean will be accompanying me as Doug has a family wedding to attend.

On the following dates, we will have practice at Memorial Field from 4-6pm:

We’ll meet at Community Field at 3:40 and walk over at that time. Players who wish to drive to the field may do so, but be aware that you can’t park in the lots near the Administration Building until after 5:30. Also, please make arrangements for pick up at Memorial Field at 6pm.

Practice Th evening will now be at Community Field so we can get to the float in time to finish preparations for the parade.

The GCC game is now going to be held at the STF, same time.
